The contract seeks the procurement of 3 packages, each containing six individually packaged intraosseous infusion systems, identified by NSN 6515-01-642-7919, for tactical advanced lifesaving use. Each package includes one manual IO needle (15 GA, 1.8mm x 38.5mm), one sternal locator (16 GA, 1.65mm x 23.6mm), one EZ-Connect adapter, one quick reference card, and one wristband—all constructed from 304 stainless steel, sterile, latex-free, and non-pyrogenic. The devices provide access to seven anatomical sites: sternum, bilateral proximal humerus, bilateral proximal tibia, and bilateral distal tibia, and must maintain a minimum 48-month shelf life with no more than seven months elapsed between manufacture and government delivery.
