Invitation to Bid: Brownsburg CR 700 North Water Main Relocation

The Town of Brownsburg is soliciting bids for the County Road 700 North Water Main Relocation Project in Indiana. The scope of work includes the construction of approximately 550 linear feet of 16 inch HDPE water main to replace and relocate existing infrastructure. The project requires the reconnection of all adjacent water mains and services, the installation of valves, hydrants, and necessary appurtenances, and the replacement of all service lines from the water main to the water meter. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, equipment, materials, and testing, as well as the demolition and removal of existing features. Sealed bids must be submitted physically to the Town of Brownsburg Town Hall by 2:00 p.m. local time on February 11, 2025. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Mandatory submission requirements include a bid bond or certified check for 5 percent of the bid amount, a non-collusion affidavit, certificates of General Liability and Workers Compensation Insurance, and a completed Indiana Form 96 including financial and experience statements. Additionally, the successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds totaling 100 percent of the contract value, which must remain in effect for one year beyond substantial completion.
