The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at City of Brookside Village.Electronic Bid Documents, including Plans, Technical Specifications and Bid Forms, are available at www.civcast.com. See Bid Form for detailsA bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Brookside Village or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond.The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the General Land Office (GLO) under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Develop-ment Community Development Block Grant - Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing Davis-Bacon and Related Acts wage rate, as issued by the Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. Adherence to the City of Brookside Village Section 3 Policy is required for all contracts.All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) prior to any formal action authorizing the award of a contract to the contractor. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, Veteran-Owned Businesses, Section 3 Businesses, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids. The City of Brookside Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
