Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is asking interested parties to provide information for a potential opportunity to lease fully furnished studio, one, two or three bedroom residential units to PSPC. Interested parties may express a desire to lease any or all of the residential unit(s) that meet the following criteria: Section A: Lease Components ? varying lease terms of up to fifteen (15) months, with a range of commencement dates commencing on or about October 1, 2024 until the full requirement is met. ? the proposed space should satisfy or be capable of satisfying the following criteria: ? each proposed residential unit must include a living room, dining area, kitchen with a full size stove and refrigerator, one full bathroom, on site laundry with full size washer and dryer and sufficient residential storage space; ? each unit must be provided with a minimum of one (1) energized or underground parking space; ? all appliances shall be provided and maintained by the Lessor at its sole expense; ? the physical characteristics of the land, the building and the area and environment surrounding it, including neighbouring land uses, shall be compatible with the Lessee’s intended use of the accommodation; ? the proposed space must be located in the city of Calgary. Preference may be given to space located within the following boundaries (the geographical boundaries include sites on either side of the roads): North: McKnight Blvd NE west to John Laurie Blvd NW West: Charleswood Drive NW south to Crowchild Trail NW South: 17 Ave SW east to Macleod Trail, north on Macleod Trail to 9 Ave SE continuing to 17 Ave SE East: Deerfoot Trail NE In the event of any discrepancy between the attached map and text description of the geographic boundaries, the text description shall prevail. This map is to be used for presentation purposes only and is not a legal document ? Preference may be given to buildings in which multiple units are available ? proposed residential unit(s) must, on or before the lease commencement date, comply with: 1. all requirements contained in both PSPC’s Standards for Leased Residential Accommodation, and Furniture and Services Requirements, copies of which may be obtained from the contact listed in Section E; 2. the Canada Labour Code as applicable to fire, health and safety; 3. the Canadian Electrical Code; 4. the National Building Code of Canada; 5. all other applicable Codes and Standards and all local laws and by-laws. Note: PSPC may wish to visit or inspect the proposed space upon reasonable notice and a threat and risk assessment may be undertaken in order to assess potential threats to the security of the proposed space and to the public.
