Sources sought synopsis announcement is issued to assist the 673d Contracting Squadron, JBER, Alaska, in performing market research to determine interest and capability. This is not a Request For Proposal (RFP) and responses to this request are not proposals and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This is not a guarantee of a future RFP or an award. This document should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government. Any information provided to the Government in response to this document will become 673d Contracting Squadron property and will not be returned. The Government will not reimburse contractors for any cost associated with responding to the request. Request is for a base plus 4 option years. JBER, AK is seeking interested sources capable of maintenance and service for an IQ200/AX-4280 Urine Analyzer. Contractor shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards. The contract is tentatively planned to run for a base period of one year with four options years beginning 1 September 2012. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219, with a business size of $19.0M. Interested and qualified sources are requested to provide: (1) company name, point of contact, e-mail addresses, telephone and fax numbers, identification of business size under the applicable NAICS code, i.e., 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB; (2) a list of the company's most recent and relevant (within the last three years) DoD or commercial contracts and brief description; and (3) information demonstrating the company's ability to perform these services. Respondents are asked to limit submissions to ten pages or less. Any information provided is voluntary. All eligible firms responding to the Sources Sought must ensure their response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the firm's qualifications to perform this requirement.
