Description - The Forest Service is seeking engineering services for construction work associated with upgrading undersized culverts to road bridges over Lodgepole Creek and Ninemile Creek along the Little Wenatchee Road (Forest Road 6500).


Work on this contract is anticipated to include, but is not limited to, construction survey and staking, developing and implementing an erosion control plan and a dewatering plan to include conducting fish salvage, removing and disposing of existing culvert and footings, road and channel excavation, reconstructing a steam channel, furnishing and installing a prestressed concrete slab bridge and precast concrete abutments, furnishing and installing a prestressed concrete bulb tee bridge and cast in place micro piles and pile cap, re-grading, reconstructing and repaving of roadway approaches, supplying and installing permanent traffic control features, and restoring and re-planting the site after construction is complete.


The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and incidental supplies necessary to perform all work described in accordance with drawings and specifications of the contract. 


This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 


Solicitation number 1240BJ26Q0011 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Irving Peak Lodgepole and Ninemile Crossing Construction.
