The ISOF Range 2026 event, organized by the Program Manager – SOF Lethality in collaboration with the Joint Services Small Arms Program (JSSAP) and various Department of Defense offices, is set for April 14-15, 2026, at the Nevada Test and Training Range. It includes a special Last Line of Defense rodeo on April 12, focusing on small-unit counter-unmanned aircraft systems (cUAS) testing. The purpose of the event is to conduct hands-on market research into innovative lethality technologies, bringing together U.S. Special Operations Forces, component combat developers, government technical experts, and over thirty international SOF units, alongside representatives from federal law enforcement, R&D agencies, and all branches of the U.S. military. This effort is initiated through a Request for Information (RFI), not a solicitation for proposals, calling for exhibitors from private industry, government labs, academic institutions, and individuals to apply for participation. Applicants are to submit their technologies via the Phoenix Defence website and, if selected, will present them to the gathered audience for evaluation and feedback during the event. The feedback aims to inform the development of future requirements and address current capability gaps in lethality for special operations. The deadline to respond is January 30, 2026, and the point of contact for further information is Marvin Marcia at USSOCOM in Tampa, Florida.
