ITB 26-VSW-TAL-008 Tanana Exploratory Water Supply Well

The State of Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation, Village Safe Water Program, is soliciting bids for the construction of the Tanana Exploratory Water Supply Well in Tanana, Alaska. The project involves drilling at least one and up to three 6-inch diameter vertical groundwater wells, specifically including Exploratory Well 1A to a depth of up to 60 feet. A critical requirement is that the first 20 feet of drilling must be conducted under archeologist oversight. The contractor is also responsible for performing pumping tests, with provisions for additional hours as needed. All work must be completed by September 30, 2026, and must adhere to the technical specifications outlined in Section 00-00-01. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. Bidders may qualify for a 5 percent Alaska Bidder Preference or preferences for certified Minority Business Enterprises and Women's Business Enterprises. Submissions must be delivered in sealed envelopes and include a bid bond via Form 25D-14. Upon award, the successful contractor must provide a performance bond, payment bond, certificate of insurance, and certifications regarding federal debarment and lobbying. Payment will be made on a monthly basis following the submission of an application for payment and an approved schedule of values. Compliance with the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988 and strict adherence to subcontractor approval processes are mandatory.
