The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is issuing a solicitation for prequalified firms to provide demolition and removal services for improvements, structures, or encumbrances within right of way or easement areas across Georgia. Bidders must hold current prequalification status specifically for Right of Way Property Management Services issued by GDOT; firms not prequalified will not be considered. The selection process will identify the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder based on bid prices, with the contract value estimated between $500,000 and $2,000,000. Applicants are responsible for monitoring the solicitation for updates and ensuring their bids are submitted on time, as late submissions will not be accepted. A strict communication restriction is in place, prohibiting respondents from discussing the solicitation or scope with GDOT staff, including the commissioner and board members, until the selection is announced, except through designated channels for questions. The deadline for responses is July 1, 2025, and inquiries can be directed to Tameka Crowder via email or phone. This procurement aims to engage qualified firms capable of efficiently managing demolition tasks within the specified scope and budget, with the process emphasizing transparency and adherence to prequalification and communication protocols.
