ITB - Tennis Court Design-Build Project

Nyssa School District 26 is soliciting sealed lump-sum bids for a design-build project to construct a new six-court outdoor tennis facility in Nyssa, Oregon. The project consists of two batteries of three courts each and requires the contractor to provide a complete engineered design and construction plan set, including structural, grading, drainage, and dimensions. Key technical specifications include the use of post-tensioned concrete slabs and an acrylic surfacing system. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, and equipment, as well as coordinating site preparation with a local excavation contractor and managing all necessary permits and inspections. To be considered responsive, bidders must provide an Oregon contractor license, a proposed project schedule, and documentation of relevant design-build experience and references. The project team must include personnel with active certifications from the American Sports Builders Association, a Post-Tensioning Institute Level 1 or 2 certification, and a certified installer certificate from the acrylic surface manufacturer. The contract will be awarded to the apparent lowest responsive bidder whose proposal is in the best interest of the District.
