ITS Storage Upgrade

This notice is a Sources Sought posted by the 17th Contracting Squadron, Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, Texas. This Sources Sought is for fact finding and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as an invitation for Bid, Request for Proposal, Solicitation, Request for Quote, or an indication the Government will contract for the items or services herein. The purpose is to seek and identify potential qualified sources with the capability to provide the Brand Name parts identified for our Department of Defense Intelligence Information System . This project adds or replaces hardware controllers and disks in the Network Attached Storage solution that supports all of the intelligence training applications and imagery training materials for both delivery and development on all of the training networks. Imagery Storage Expansions is the additional hardware required to increase the storage capacity of the two network storage devices. The storage solution that will be upgraded to increase the total number of disk shelves for storage and disaster recovery is required to accommodate several new hardware projects that must be supported with this storage solution. This solution is capable of responding to our enterprise requirements, consolidated system administration strategy, and is compatible with the current NetApp installed system. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract. Further, the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted as a result of this notice and not responsible for any costs. Any pricing information submitted will not be evaluated.
