This contract represents an Annual Synopsis for a Repair Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) numbered N00104-06-G-A752 with Sargent Controls and Aerospace, covering the period from July 21, 2007, to July 21, 2008. The agreement facilitates the evaluation and repair of various hydraulic system components manufactured and repaired by Sargent Controls under orders issued by the Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP). Key repair items include several specific linear and solenoid valves identified by their National Stock Numbers (NSNs) and part numbers, reflecting the focus on critical hydraulic system parts. While individual repair orders may cover any sole source items within the hydraulic system, orders exceeding $25,000 will be subject to further synopsizing under applicable federal acquisition regulations. A complete list of repairable items and forecasted quantities is available upon request. Orders issued under this BOA are awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), indicating a sole source procurement due to the government’s lack of competition data for these items at present. Solicitations follow NAVICP’s specific solicitation language guidance, particularly clause LA27LN concerning alternate products offered, providing a framework for companies interested in supplying these components. The Department of Defense, through its Navsup Weapon Systems Support Mech office in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, manages this contract, ensuring the continued maintenance and reliability of essential hydraulic system components critical to defense operations.
