Full Description

NOTICE OF INTENT SYNOPSIS: Department of Interior, Interior Business Center, on behalf of Office of Special Trustee for American Indians, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a contract for software and equipment maintenance for the following: Bell & Howell Combo System (JetVision Vektor Software; BICOS Software; JetVision Gold Hardware), Bell & Howell 3500 (JetVision Gold Software; AUI Software); two (2) Formas (FD668) Signer/Burster. The equipment is owned and utilized by the Government in its operations. The award of the contract will enable the agency to receive software updates and to maintain the equipment that it uses in its operations. The justification for other than full and open competition is attached for further rationale for the sole source award. This is a sole source award pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources that feel they should be considered qualified to provide the foregoing services may submit a response to this notice within 15 calendar days of synopsis publication to Cynthia Chick, contact@example.gov. Information furnished shall include enough detailed documentation to allow the government to perform a proper evaluation. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
