Request for Information: Additive Manufacturing
Solicitation # N0010427RZ058
The Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support is conducting market research through Request for Information N0010427RZ058 to identify qualified sources capable of designing, producing, and delivering piece part components or entire assemblies using additive manufacturing methods. The government is specifically interested in vendors who can produce items such as valves, actuators, and manifolds, as identified in the candidate NIIN list. While contractors may use additive manufacturing or traditional wrought and cast processes, any additive manufactured components must be fully interchangeable with their traditional equivalents and strictly adhere to the baselines established in Project Peculiar Document PPD 802-8436658. All end items must meet mandated quality assurance requirements, including non-destructive testing and specific dimensional tolerances detailed in the technical data packages. This notice is for information gathering only and does not constitute a solicitation or a binding contract. The government is seeking detailed information on vendor facilities, equipment, and certifications such as ISO 9001 and AS9100, as well as past performance with similar military or commercial hardware. Additionally, the agency is requesting industry feedback on objective evaluation criteria for future competitive awards and the structuring of performance-based incentives within Firm-Fixed-Price contracts. Interested vendors must submit their administrative details and capability statements in PDF format to the designated point of contact by October 22, 2026.
