The contract involves the procurement of four units of a specific circuit card assembly (NSN 7H-5998-014731572, TDP VER 003) designated for repair or modification. The delivery terms are FOB origin, with the items to be issued to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation located in Charlottesville, Virginia. This procurement is being handled under a sole-source negotiation in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, meaning the government intends to negotiate exclusively with one supplier due to proprietary restrictions and the impracticality of reverse engineering the part. Although this notice is not a solicitation for competitive quotes, interested parties may express their interest and capability to fulfill the requirement or submit proposals within a prescribed timeframe. The government will consider any submissions received before the award date but retains full discretion to proceed without competition. The contract is managed by the Department of Defense’s Navsup Weapon Systems Support Mech office based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Documentation related to military and federal specifications pertinent to this contract can be accessed through DoD resources such as the DoD Single Stock Point or online via ASSIST-Online, though certain detailed drawings and specifications are not available for public distribution.
