This contract synopsis concerns the placement of CY 2018 orders under a Basic Ordering Agreement with W.R. Systems, referenced by contract number N00104-15-G-A100. W.R. Systems, located in Norfolk, VA, is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and the sole source capable of full repair for 177 National Stock Numbers (NSNs). The items involved are mission critical, and the necessary technical data and proprietary information are not available from the Government, which restricts the possibility of competition for repair services. Because of these factors, Government source approval is required before contract award, and only W.R. Systems has been solicited for these repairs. The contract is managed by the Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support Mechanical Office, located in Mechanicsburg, PA. Given the specialized nature of the repairs and the limited availability of approved sources, the Government cannot delay award pending approval of alternative repair sources. This ensures timely maintenance and support of essential equipment. For further details or inquiries, contacts are provided to assist with item lists or other questions, reflecting the critical and specialized nature of the procurement under NAICS code 334412, which covers electronic component manufacturing support.

This is the NAVUSP WSS synopsis for CY 2018 orders to be placed under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with W.R. Systems N00104-15-G-A100. W. R. Systems is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and the only known source to possess full repair capability located in Norfolk, VA (cage 1BCK1). The repairs will be for 177 NSNs. Complete data, drawings and the rights to the same are not available from the Government. For a complete list of all items to be repaired or any questions concerning this notice, contact David M. Brown at +1 (555) 000-0000. The subject items require Government source approval prior to contract award, as the items are mission critical and/or the technical data available has not been determined adequate to support repair via full and open competition. Only the source previously approved by the Government for repair of these items has been solicited. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
