Full Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source T-45 F405-RR-401 Engine Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) contract to Rolls-Royce North America for intermediate and depot level engine maintenance. The quantity of engines requiring support is expected to be 176 on the contract start date (1 October 2003) with increases during the period of performance as additional aircraft and additional spare engines are procured. This program includes the total supply support and Intermediate and Depot level engine maintenance required for the operation of the RR F-405 turbofan engine. This contract will be structured to pay by the flight hour based on engine-on wing usage to include all logistics and maintenance costs. Numbered Note 22 and 26 applies.
