Full Description

The U. S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with A&D Technology, Inc., 4622 Runway Blvd., Ann Arbor, MI 48108-9555. The contractor shall provide labor, materials, installation, and diagnostics service to verify proper wiring configuration to AC drive equipment for Test Cell #1. ATC also requires Engine Control Unit communication to ATC supplied engines for Test Cell #2. Contractor shall supply appropriate driver and interface, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), update current CAD system drawings, and inspect and perform any required maintenance on Test Cells. A&D Technology has proprietary rights to the custom design components for the Dynamometer System. Award to another contractor would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334519 and the size standard is 500 Employees. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 12:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time, 25 September 2012.
