W91ZLK-11-T-0103 SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE TO HUMANETICS INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS, INC. FOR CALIBRATING LOAD CELLS AND ACCELEROMETERS FOR THE ANTHROPOMORPHIC TEST DEVICES ON A YEAR ROTATION OR AS NEEDED BASIS. The U. S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with Humanetics Innovative Solutions, Inc., 47460 Galleon Drive, Plymouth, MI 48170. The contractor shall provide the following calibration and repair for the Anthropomorphic Test Device: Calibration of load cells and accelerometers on a yearly rotation or as needed basis. Humanetics Innovative Solutions, Inc. is the sole manufacturer of the equipment and holds the proprietary drawings. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 339999 and the size standard is 500 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later that 1:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time, 25 March 2011.
