In accordance with Office of Management and Budget Circular A-76 (Revised), Performance of Commercial Activities, May 29, 2003, on 9 Mar 07, formal public notification was made to announce the official start date of a public-private competition of Defense Red Switch Network services performed at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. On 23 May 07, a streamlined competition was conducted in accordance with guidance from the revised circular which determined agency performance to be the most efficient and cost effective method of operation. No soliciation will be issued.
