The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to gather market research on vendors capable of providing maintenance, repair, and replacement services for a specific radio paging system. This RFI is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for quotes or a commitment to award a contract. The VA is seeking a third-party maintenance plan that can support the Zetron paging system components at two VA medical center locations in Florida: Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville and Lake City VA Medical Center. The contractor must be capable of responding to service requests 24/7, including holidays and weekends, and must arrive on-site within two hours of notification. The contractor does not need to be an OEM-certified technician but must demonstrate relevant capability and experience. The scope includes maintenance and repair of specific paging system parts such as Zetron 2100 Paging Terminals, radio station cards, ADPCM voice controllers, various transmitters, and related components. Services will be required for a base period of 12 months from award, with four one-year option periods. Work performed on-site must generally exclude federal holidays and weekends unless otherwise directed by the Contracting Officer. Vendors responding to this RFI must submit a concise capability package including company information, relevant registrations, business size, and rough order of magnitude cost estimates by the specified deadline. Responses are voluntary, and all submitted information becomes government property with no reimbursement for costs incurred.
