The Bureau of Reclamation Alamosa Field Office plans to award a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order for a SCADA service agreement under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulations that allow contracting with only one responsible source. The contract, identified as the J--San Juan Chama SCADA Contract, is designated under NAICS code 334512, which corresponds to electronic monitoring and control instrumentation manufacturing, with a standard size limit of 500 employees. The service will be delivered to Chama, New Mexico, with terms set as FOB destination. This sole source approach is justified by the absence of other suppliers or services capable of meeting the agency’s needs. The government invites all qualified sources to submit responses, which will be reviewed to determine if a competitive procurement process is necessary. However, any decision to proceed with or forego competition remains at the government's sole discretion. Importantly, submissions must be timely and adhere to specified communication channels; facsimile and oral responses are not accepted, and the government will not compensate for information provided. The procurement will be managed by the Bureau of Reclamation Acquisition Management Division, with the contract issued through the Denver Federal Center, part of the Department of the Interior.
