NSN 7R-6615-011293815-LU, IAW REF NR A22814-1 ITEM, QTY 15 EA, DELIVERYFOB ORIGIN, ISSUE TO MOOG INC, EAST AURORA, NY 14052-8533. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes and the proposed/contract action is forsupplies or services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. Quotes received prior to the award datewill be considered by the Government.A determination by the Government not tocompete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solelywithin the discretion of the government. Information received will normally beconsidered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct acompetitive procurement.This part requires engineering source approval by thedesign control activityin order to maintain the quality of the part. Existingunique designcapability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by thequalifiedsource(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s).Theapproved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, ortechnicaldata that are not economically available to the Government, and thedata orknowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. Analternatesource must qualify in accordance with the design controlactivity'sprocedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineeringactivity. Thequalification procedures must be approved by the Governmentengineeringactivity having jurisdiction over the part in the intendedapplication.This procurement is for an item where Moog Inc is the only approvedsource. -SEE NOTES 9, 26
