Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic intends to award, on a sole source basis, a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite- quantity contract to ViaSat, Inc., 6155 El Camino Real, Carlsbad, CA 92009, for the following Tactical Data Link/SATCOM equipment and incidental support services: LEGS Full-up system with Ethernet UHF SATCOM converter module LEGS Full-up Site License Customized LVT (1) Host Interface Cable, W3 LEGS Software Update Subscription MIDS Support Station Racks LVT (1) Control Panel with Accessories JIPM MD-1377/U LVT (1) Cooling Tray Unit (115VAC 60Hz) Navel Frigate MIDS LVT (4) Rack System MIDS Power Unit Naval LBTS for MIDS LVT (4) /LVT (11) Rack System ViaSat is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the equipment being procured and holds all proprietary rights to the equipment. The estimated value of the contract is $48,000,000. The authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334290 with an applicable size standard of 750 employees. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. All interested sources must respond in writing with sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirement within seven (7) days of this publication.
