This is a notice that the government intends to award a contract to DRS Technologies, 645 Anchors Street, Ft. Walton Beach, FL 32548 for technical support, repairing and maintaining of the Advanced Range Data System (ARDS) Full Range Production (FRP) instrumentation pod. Due to the proprietary nature of the embedded firmware and hardware, the services required for support, maintenance and repair are only available from DRS Technologies and is the only known source that can meet our requirement. Othe r than full and open competition will be used under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirement.
