The U.S. Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration (MARAD) intends to award a fixed price contract for Vessel Repairs on the Training Ship the Golden Bear. This requirement is for the servicing and maintenance of the Alarm & Monitoring, Ballast Control, and Propulsion Control automation systems. This proposed contract will be performed while the vessel is located at Vallejo, California, at the foot of 200 Maritime Academy Drive on or about beginning of January 2009. The solicitation DTMA4B09002 will be available by electronic posting on or about 11/26/08. This is an unrestricted requirement under the NAICS Code 336611and it will not be Set-Aside for Small Businesses.
