It mandates two comprehensive preventive maintenance inspections per year—one in February and another in August—encompassing generator calibrations, suspension system repairs, cleaning and lubrication of tables, collimators, image intensifiers, and other components to manufacturer specifications. The contract also provides up to 20 hours of on-site labor for repairs, telephone engineering support for minor issues, and covers parts supplied locally except for glass components. The contractor bears responsibility for necessary licenses, insurance, and safety precautions, as well as liability for injuries or damages caused during service. Detailed technical tasks include cleaning, inspecting, adjusting, repairing, and calibrating various parts of the X-ray systems, such as generators, tube suspensions, tables, fluoroscopy devices, collimators, and image intensifiers, ensuring proper and safe operation.
