Synopsis for N0018923Q0551 The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Norfolk, VA intends to negotiate a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract under FAR Part 13. FLC Norfolk has been tasked to procure a firm fixed price type contract for Curtiss-Wright Electro-Mechanical Corporation dba Curtiss-Wright Fleet Solutions services in support of Surface Warfare Schools Command, Newport RI. The statutory authority permitting other than Full and Open Competition is 41 U.S.C. 1901(e)(2) for a sole source acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333912 Air and Gas Compressor Manufacturing with a Size Standard of 1,000 employees. This prospective Request for Quote (RFQ) will be processed utilizing Other Than Full and Open Competition. A complete RFQ package will be available by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows, http://www.neco.navy.mil or SAM.gov on or around 08/24/2023. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site, this office will NOT issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer.
