The Department of Veterans Affairs plans to award a sole source contract to Glomax, Inc., a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), for the maintenance and support of the NEXO[DOSE] system. This contract includes a base year plus four option years and covers annual maintenance and support for up to 100,000 procedures, software updates and upgrades, 24/7 telephone application support, outbound API/HL7 maintenance related to EMR connectivity, license adjustments for an additional 10,000 procedures, installation services, and professional services for up to four hours. Glomax is the only authorized SDVOSB provider capable of fulfilling these service requirements, as confirmed by market research. The contract will be awarded under the authority of FAR 13.106-1, allowing for a sole source procurement due to the lack of competitive options meeting the specific service criteria. Although this notice is not a solicitation for competitive proposals, the VA is open to receiving evidence from interested vendors within seven days of the notice’s publication to confirm their status as authorized service providers or SDVOSBs in the VetBiz Portal. The contracting office requires firms to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award, and any inquiries can be directed to the designated contract specialist. The estimated award date was set for late September 2021.
