The Department of Veterans Affairs, through its Network Contract Office 23 based in Saint Paul, MN, has awarded a firm-fixed-price sole source contract (Solicitation Number 36C26326Q0076) to Terumo Cardiovascular Systems Corporation for the maintenance and servicing of four Terumo System 1 Heart-Lung Bypass Machines at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System. This contract falls under the NAICS code 811210, which pertains to equipment maintenance services. Prior to award, a Notice of Intent was issued, inviting other vendors to submit capability statements within a limited timeframe; however, the agency’s market research confirmed that no alternative sources could perform the required maintenance. The contract specialist overseeing this procurement is Robert Bennett, reachable via email or phone.
