AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, through the VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center, intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Alliance Medical Corporation of Cedarburg, Wisconsin, for BOOM and Integration Services at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee. This action is authorized under 41 U.S.C. 1901 and implemented through FAR 13.106-1, which permits non-competitive procurement when only one responsible source exists and no other products or services can fulfill the agency’s requirements. The contract will consist of a base period followed by two optional one-year extensions, with performance taking place entirely at the specified medical center location. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811210, categorizing it as Other Building Equipment Contractors. All required materials, supplies, equipment, and qualified personnel must be provided by the contractor to ensure seamless delivery of services. Interested parties may submit a capability statement by May 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM CST, exclusively via email to Michele Coleman at michele.coleman@va.gov, in either Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format; telephone inquiries are not accepted. The submission must include sufficient detail regarding the firm’s products, services, and references from other customers to validate capability and compliance with the agency’s needs. While responses are voluntary, failure to receive any viable alternatives will result in execution of the sole source negotiation with Alliance Medical Corporation. Payment will be processed through the VA’s designated office in Milwaukee, and no specific invoicing system, security clearance requirements, or packaging and marking standards are outlined in the documentation. The government retains full discretion to determine whether to proceed with sole source award based solely on the adequacy of submitted information, and no competitive evaluation factors, pricing details, or subcontracting plans are applicable under this simplified acquisition.
