The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) plans to enter into a sole source contract with DRAEGER, INC for a Preventative Maintenance Service Agreement on the Evita Infinity V500 equipment. This decision is based on the fact that DRAEGER, INC is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the only authorized provider certified to perform maintenance services on this specific equipment, with no other vendor having such authorization. The contract will be a firm fixed price agreement, covering a base year plus four option years, under NAICS code 811219 and a business size standard of $22 million. This procurement is conducted under statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 and FAR provisions, and is not a competitive solicitation. While this notice is not a request for quotes, any firm believing it can meet the requirements must submit detailed capability statements along with an OEM authorization letter from DRAEGER, INC, confirming maintenance service authorization without voiding the warranty by August 25, 2022. Submissions must be emailed exclusively to Elizabeth Ratcliff at the VA, with no telephone requests accepted. The government will review any received responses but reserves the right to proceed with sole source negotiations if no suitable responses are found or if they determine competition unnecessary. The contract will be managed through the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contract Office 22 in Gilbert, Arizona.
