J065--Bayer Medrad Injector Preventive Maintenance Service
Solicitation # 36C24727Q0009
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 7, intends to award a contract for preventive maintenance and repair services for Government-owned Bayer MEDRAD injector systems located at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System in Montgomery, Alabama. The scope of work encompasses all labor, travel, preventive maintenance inspections, calibration, corrective maintenance, and technical support. Crucially, the requirement includes providing proprietary software updates, operating system updates, cybersecurity updates, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) replacement parts. The services must be performed by appropriately trained and authorized personnel in accordance with manufacturer specifications and must comply with various safety and quality standards, including OSHA, FDA, and ISO 9001. The anticipated contract period consists of a base year from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027, with two subsequent option years extending through September 30, 2029. While the initial planning indicated a 100% total small business set-aside under NAICS 811210, a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract has been issued to Bayer HealthCare LLC.
