Full Description

Sources Sought Synopsis: The United States Air Force (USAF) requires repair services for the Digital Temperature Control Amplifier (DTCA) to support the J85-5 engine used in the T-38 aircraft. The objective is to have the amplifiers check/tested, repaired, and/or upgraded. The upgrade applies to NSN 5996-01-512-9275, PN AY33112489-1 version only. This upgrade is required to correct engine exhaust gas temperature system fluctuations. Failure of the DTCA results in loss of proper control of the nozzle position and can cause a failure mode in which the amplifier senses a lower T5 than the actual T5 resulting in nozzle closure and a possible over-temperature of engine. REPAIR: NSN 5996-01-582-7251 / PN AY33112489-1CDF UPGRADE: NSN 5996-01-512-9275 / PN AY33112489-1 Please see attachments.

F110 Motional Transducer Remanufacture
Solicitation # FA812227RB002
The United States Air Force, through the Air Force Sustainment Center at the Oklahoma City Logistics Center, is soliciting the remanufacture of the F110 Motional Transducer under solicitation FA812227RB002. This requirement is structured as a Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Requirements Type contract consisting of a one-year basic period and four one-year option periods. The scope of work includes both medium and low levels of repair, involving the replacement of core and shaft assemblies, connectors, and major subassemblies. Due to the specialized nature of the equipment, the government anticipates a sole source award to an authorized distributor of a qualified source, and all offerors must be approved sources in accordance with FAR 52.209-1. Key administrative and technical requirements include the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow system for electronic invoicing and the mandatory application of unique item identifiers using two-dimensional data matrix symbology. Offerors must comply with stringent quality standards, including ISO 9001:2000, AS 9100, and NATO AQAP2070, and must provide a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification unique identifier. The acquisition is unrestricted, though a 10 percent price evaluation preference is granted to HUBZone small business concerns. Deliverables include various reporting requirements such as Commercial Asset Visibility, Government Property Inventory, and Supply Chain Risk Management plans. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the DLA Distribution Depot Oklahoma at Tinker AFB.
