The Jackson County Board of Commissioners is soliciting bids under ITB 260011 for a turnkey replacement of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems at the Courthouse Data Center and the Sheriff/E911 Center Data Center in Georgia. The project encompasses the full lifecycle of the replacement, including field verification, furnishing and installation of new UPS systems and batteries, integration with the Schneider Electric EcoStruxure monitoring environment, staff training, and the removal of existing equipment. Because these facilities support critical public safety and government infrastructure, maintaining electrical availability is mandatory; existing systems must remain operational until the County authorizes the final cutover. The contract is a fixed-price agreement with a performance period of 14 months, starting within 30 days of the Notice to Proceed. Award will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with consideration given to price, quality, and the ability to render services. Requirements include a 5 percent bid bond, 100 percent performance and payment bonds, and valid Georgia electrical contractor licensing. All materials must be UL labeled or listed and comply with National Electrical Code and NFPA 11 standards. Final acceptance is contingent upon successful commissioning, including the demonstration of protected load continuity and full visibility through the EcoStruxure monitoring system.
