Full Description

The Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard (USCG) Director of Operational Logistics (DOL-94), proposes to enter into a sole source, six (6) month contract with Apex Waste System, Inc, for Refuse collection in USCG Base Los Angeles/Long Beach, San Pedro, CA. The contract period of performance is 10/01/2021 - 03/31/2022. The contractor will provide all services per the PWS. This purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with: Federal Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000. This sole source is pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) "Only One Responsible Source/a Limited Number of Responsible Sources and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. See the attached J&A for details. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES/PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICIATION IS AVAILABLE. Telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of quotes or offers received in response to this notice. Additionally, any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the government.
