In accordance with FAR 52.215-3, Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes, this Sources Sought Notice is a Request for Information for the purpose of conducting market reseach to provide data for planning puposes only. This Sources Sought Notice shall not be construed as a solicitation or an an obligation on part of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey (JB MDL). The government intends to solicit and negotiate a 8(a) sole source, firm-fixed price contract under the authority 19.804-4 for EC Beddown Custodial Services on JB MDL. It is envisioned that the contractor will provide all personnel, supervision, and services necessary to perform custodial services in accordance with the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). This notice is intended strictly for market research as a request for industry comment on the draft PWS to assist in its development relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 561720. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the government to form a binding contract. Vendors are reminded that only Contracting Officers are authorized to commit the government to the obligation of funds. At this time no solicitation exists, therefore do not request a copy of the solicitation. Please submit responses to jeremy.botkin@us.af.mil. Responses are to be submitted no later than 13 April 2016 at 12:00 p.m. Participating vendors shall furnish the following minimum information: 1. Any comments to the attached DRAFT performance work statement a. Please note any major differences in the government's requirement and similar requirements in the commercial marketplace b.
