SYNOPSIS The Air Force intends to make an award to a sole source company for JCAD simulators. The JCAD simulator is the Air Force equipment replacement for the legacy M22 Automatic Chemical Agent Alarm and Improved Chemical Agent Monitor. The JCAD Simulator detects the presence of specific chemical hazards or threats in a peace time or war time environment. This piece of equipment will be utilized by the Readiness and Emergency Management flight because they are the subject matter expert on the JCAD equipment. This item is also a mandatory requirement on the deployable unit type codes listing.
