This project is issued for Bids by: Jefferson Davis Parish School Board, c/o Porche May + Domain Architecture, AJV, 203 E. Plaquemine Street, Jennings, LA 70546,   For:        Post-Hurricane Restoration - Package 2, Elton High, Hathaway High, James Ward Elementary, Jennings High, Lacassine High, Lake Arthur Elementary, Lake Arthur High, Southside Elementary, Tech Center, Welsh Elementary.   Electronic Bids can be submitted through www.centralauctionhouse.com. Bids will be received until 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 11, 2026. Bids will be read aloud at the JDPSB Technology Center at 1628 South Thibodeaux Rd, Jennings, LA 70546.   Complete Bid Documents prepared by Porche May + Domain Architecture, AJV, 1808 Elm Street, Lake Charles, LA 70601 for this project are available in electronic form. The Bid Documents may be obtained online at Central Auction House Central Bidding website: https://www.centralauctionhouse.com. Printed copies are not available from the Architect. Printed copies can be ordered from Central Bidding at the Contractor's expense.   Any questions regarding the project or bidding documents must be made in writing by way of email. Please submit these questions to jdpsb@pmarchitects.design. It is the intent that questions will be answered via a formally issued Addendum, to be distributed via Central Bidding.   A NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 28, 2026, via Teams, Site: microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/join-a-meeting     Meeting ID: 254 660 709 093 784     Passcode: vs2pg6q2   Bidders are encouraged to visit the project site(s) to become familiar with the site(s) and working conditions.   Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of Building Construction.   No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of LA R.S. 38:2214.   The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. In accordance with LA R.S. 38:2212 (B)(1), the provisions and requirements of this Section and those stated in the bidding documents shall not be waived by any entity.   All bids shall be accompanied by bid security in an amount of five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates. The form of this security shall be as stated in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Documents for this project.   The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond as described in the Instructions to Bidders.   This project may be financed or eligible for reimbursement in whole or in part by federal or other funds.
