The State of Utah Division of Purchasing, on behalf of the Division of Wildlife Resources, is seeking to establish contracts for the supply of various seeds, as detailed in the supporting attachments. The contract opportunity is structured as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) and is expected to result in multiple contract awards, with the specific number of awards determined by criteria outlined in one of the attachments. The primary aim is to secure seeds for delivery with a preferred date before September 4, 2025; however, flexibility is offered for later deliveries for certain items, while deliveries cannot commence before July 28, 2025. Vendors participating in this IFB are required to guarantee their pricing, so that after the initial contract awards, the state retains the option to purchase additional seeds—such as in response to wildfire emergencies—at the awarded bid prices, provided the vendor remains willing to sell at those rates. The estimated value of the contracts ranges between $500,000 and $2,000,000, highlighting the significant scale of this procurement. The process is managed through the state’s procurement channels, with all pertinent details and attachments available to prospective vendors via the listed official platforms.
