The State of Utah Division of Purchasing, through the Division of Wildlife Resources, is seeking bids for a project to remove and replace approximately 10,560 feet of fencing across multiple locations. The work involves completely dismantling existing wire fences, including posts, panels, gates, stays, clips, and other components, and then reconstructing new fences with a 4-wire configuration (comprising two barbed and two barbless wires), using T-Posts, metal stays, end and stress panels, corners, gates, and clips. To ensure continuity, some T-Posts will be left in place to serve as temporary markers, guiding the new fence line to match the previous location. Bidders are responsible for verifying project variables such as total length and topographical features like drainages and hilltops before submitting their bids. The project does not require a mandatory site visit and aims for a single award to the lowest responsive and responsible vendor, with pricing guaranteed through project completion. The preferred contract duration is until November 15, 2025, weather permitting, with potential work windows between August and October 2026, contingent on weather conditions. The contract value is estimated to range from $50,000 to $150,000, and the project emphasizes timely completion and adherence to schedule, with detailed planning to be discussed at a prework conference.
