Issuing Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of Purchasing Conducting Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of Wildlife Resources
The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract to provide: 10,000 shrub seedlings in PL 50 plugs and Vexar mesh grown and stored in a nursery beginning March 15th, 2027, with seeds provided by the Division of Wildlife Resources to be ready to plant by October 15th - November 30th, 2027, with the option to postpone seedling pickup until April 1st, 2028 dependent on soil conditions. Pricing will be provided by price-per-seedling. (If where the seedlings are grown is more than 120 miles away from UDWR Office at 515 E. 5300 S., South Ogden, UT 84405; the vendor must include shipping/delivery per seedling.)
Mandatory Site Visit: A site visit will NOT be held prior to bidding. It is strongly recommended that each potential bidder inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.
Length of Contract: Seedlings must by planted by March 15th, 2027 and will be picke-up not later than April 1st, 2028
Vendor must guarantee its pricing for the duration of the contract.
