Specifically, the project targets the development of a 20-acre Immersive Nature District aimed at protecting natural lands, open space, and water resources while enhancing regional recreation and connectivity. The project is funded by a 499,149 dollar award from the Los Angeles County Regional Parks and Open Space District Competitive Grant Program and is intended to position the City for further funding in 2028.
