The County will utilize a Unit Price Book (UPB) with preset Unit Prices. For its JOC program, the County has selected The Gordian Group's (Gordian) Job Order Contracting (JOC) Solution for their JOC program, which includes Gordian's proprietary JOC Information Management System ("JOC IMS"), JOC Applications, construction cost data, and Construction Task Catalog®. These tools shall be used by the Contractor solely for the purpose of fulfilling its obligations under this Contract, including the preparation and submission of Job Order Proposals, Price Proposals, subcontractor lists, and other requirements specified by the County. In accessing the Gordian JOC Solution, the Contractor must execute Gordian's General Terms of Use and pay a JOC System License Fee to obtain access to the Gordian JOC Solution™. The JOC System License Fee applies to all Job Orders issued to the Contractor under the terms of the Contract. The JOC System License Fee shall be equal to (insert percentage) of the Job Order Price. The Contractor shall include the JOC System License Fee in the Adjustment Factors. Only bidders who were prequalified during the first step of the process of the prequalification phase ( RFP-080-2968111-DEC3 (PQ) ) were invited to submit bid proposals for the second step of the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the best value contract. Best value JOC shall only be awarded on the basis of best value and shall be based on plans and specifications for typical work provided by the County.
