The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division intends to award a firm fixed price, sole source contract to Rockwell Collins, Inc. for the design, fabrication, integration, and testing of F-35 Generation 4.5 Helmet Mounted Displays. These units are specifically designed for use in the JSE full mission simulator to replicate the capabilities and limitations of the operational JSF HMD using visor technology for visual display.
