The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, specifically Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), has issued a solicitation for junk car removal and supply in support of ICE/OFTP Training at Fort Benning, Georgia. This contract opportunity, solicitation number 70CMSW25Q00000011, is a total small business set-aside and falls under NAICS code 423110. The project became necessary after a tornado on May 16, 2025, caused significant damage to the previously awarded vendor’s inventory, prompting the government to terminate the earlier purchase order for convenience and seek a new provider for these mission-critical services. The most recent Amendment 2 removes the requirement for vendors to have their business address and junk car inventory within a 20-mile radius of Fort Benning, now allowing proposals from vendors at any geographic location. All other criteria from the original Statement of Work dated July 1, 2025, remain unchanged. The deadline for submitting quotes has been extended to 10:00 AM EST on July 29, 2025, and late or incomplete submissions will not be considered. Q&A responses from Amendment 1 are available in an attachment. Interested small businesses should direct their quotes and inquiries to the contracting officer, Tony Ross, ahead of the stated deadline.
