The contract period runs from November 3, 2026, to June 30, 2027, and covers the provision of operated machinery—including dozers, snowcats, backhoes, and excavators—as well as the hauling of emergency snow removal equipment. The contract mandates strict compliance with North Dakota Administrative Code, Title VI non-discrimination assurances, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement; a market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. Respondents will be notified of the results of the evaluation upon request; however, only limited information may be made publicly available. CONTRACT INFORMATION: The Tulsa District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, (Tulsa-USACE) requires commercial sources for the procurement of a Crane Rental to accomplish operational support at Kaw Lake, Oklahoma. https://www.swt.usace.army.mil/Portals/41/docs/about/!DISTRICT2012_ALL.pdf Nature of Work: Crane shall be delivered to 9400 Lake Road, Ponca City, OK 74604 and picked up from the same location. Supplier must supply specific crane, (Tadano GR-1000XL) for the Kaw Lake Gate Operation Capability Inspection (GOCI). No Operator is required. Crane must be available on site before 5 August 2022. Supplier must provide a 27,000 lbs. counterweight package. The crane replacement plan had to meet very specific requirements which included capacity to lift the weight of stoplogs/lifting beam and have the precise radius to place all stoplogs into their guides safely. To set this crane on the Kaw bridge deck, it must fit the needed outrigger footprint of the critical lift bridge plan, engineered, and designed by Tulsa District Engineering and Construction (E&C). The Tadano GR-1000XL was designated as the Grove 8100 replacement. Field Offices, Navigation Operations, and E&C have worked for months to meet all the structural and load rating requirements, so that the Kaw GOCI is not delayed any farther. The E&C crane placement plan is designed specifically for the Tadano GR-1000XL, and no other crane can be used for that designated lift plan. The Tadano GR-1000XL meets all the specifications and no other crane can be utilized unless a new crane placement plan is designed, which correlates to a several months delay and increase labor costs to perform engineering analysis. Place of Performance: : Crane shall be delivered to Kaw Lake, 9400 Lake Road Ponca City, Oklahoma 74604 and picked up from the same location. Please See Statement of Work.
