Kerns Wildlife Habitat Management Area Fencing Project

The Wyoming State Construction Department, Procurement Section, on behalf of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department (Procuring Agency) will receive bids until 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time on April 10, 2025, through the Public Purchase online bidding system for the Kerns Wildlife Habitat Management Area (WHMA) Fencing Project, located approximately 35 miles from the town of Sheridan, WY along the Pass Creek County Road. Project Description: This project will consist of the tear out and replacement of eight (8) foot tall woven wire elk fences, inlets, and elk jumps at Kerns WHMA. The awarded contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment to perform the work. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. MT on Friday, March 21, 2025 starting at 700 Valley View Drive, Sheridan, WY 82801. Only bids submitted through the Public Purchase site and on State of Wyoming forms will be considered. It is the bidder’s responsibility to review, through Public Purchase at https://www.publicpurchase.com/gems/wyoconstruction,wy/buyer/public/home for answers to questions, addenda, or bid tabulations. Telephone calls, emails, or faxes may not be accepted. Bidding questions shall be submitted on the Public Purchase website by 1:00 p.m. MT on March 27, 2025. All questions will be answered and provided to all prospective bidders via answers on the Public Purchase website or in the form of a written addendum posted on Public Purchase by 1:00 p.m. MT on April 3, 2025. Questions received after 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time on March 27, 2025, will not be addressed. It is the Contractor's responsibility (not required) to add their company to the Plan Holders and Contractors List. If a bid is greater than $150,000 , each bid is required to have a bid deposit in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the total bid, which shall be in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check (a copy of a check will not be accepted) drawn on a reliable bank and made payable to the State of Wyoming (no personal checks will be accepted), or an electronic bid bond with Surety 2000. ONLY if you are submitting an original 10% bid bond or submitting a 10% cashier check, it MUST be received in the Procurement Office at: Wyoming State Construction Department, Procurement Office, 700 West 21st Street, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82002, by 1:00 p.m. April 10, 2025.
