This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number W913E520Q0027 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This requirement is available for full and open competition. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334519 - Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing. The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) has a requirement for a kinematic LiDAR scanner, software, and accessories with the following specifications: General. Sensor capable of capturing 360 degree LIDAR point clouds, 360 degree imagery, and thermal images simultaneously. Sensor must be capable of collecting this data while moving through an environment and provide a complete digital reconstruction of the scanned area post scan. Sensor must be suitable for deployment on an Unmanned Ground System (UGV). Must include a method to geo-reference LIDAR point clouds. Power. Instrument powered by standard 120v A/C and/or USB. Must include replaceable battery with 45 minutes or better runtime. Compatibility. Instrument must be capable of producing LIDAR point clouds and imagery in industry standard formats. Must be rated for indoor and outdoor use. Detailed specifications. Relative accuracy must be equal to or better than 15mm, absolute position accuracy indoor equal to or better than 20mm. Must weigh less than 800g with battery and have a physical size less than 280x80x80mm. Point measurement rate must be equal to or better than 420,000 points/sec. Maximum scanning range equal or better than 25 meters. Imaging camera must feature global shutter and 12 megapixel or better resolution. Other. Must include transportation/shipping case.
