Canadian Coast Guard (CCG), Central Region, has a requirement to replace two (2) aids to navigation towers located in Kingsville, ON. The towers are identified as LL613 Kingsville Front Range and LL614 Kingsville Rear Range.
Work includes; but is not necessarily limited to the provision of labour, materials, and equipment required to:
1. Mobilize, operate at, and demobilize from the sites;
2. Demolition and disposal of two (2) existing aids to navigation towers and foundations, including:
? One (1) 4.5m [15’] corrugated steel tower;
? One (1) 9.6m [32’] steel lattice tower.
3. Transportation of two (2) steel aids to navigation towers to site from Parry Sound, ON.
4. Installation of two (2) reinforced concrete foundations.
5. Installation of two (2) steel aids to navigation self-support towers including all appurtenances;
? One (1) 4.9m [16’] steel pipemast tower;
? One (1) 12.2m [40’] steel lattice tower.
6. Supply and install of chain-link fence;
7. Excavation, backfill, compaction of excavation;
8. Termination of existing electrical services to existing aids to navigation towers;
9. Restoration of all disturbed areas of site in their entirety.
Enquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than seven (7) working days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond.
The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by March 31, 2024.
